I am loving the pre-apocalyptic look of this piece...
The sun was cut from a freebie background piece by Cynthia Powell and was the starting point.
The background was made with bits from Scrapbook Flair, Songbird Avenue and another piece from Cynthia Powell Designs.
The trees and birds are brushes from Jerry Jones at Shadowhouse.
This is beautiful! Love the contrasting colors, and the design.

ReplyDeleteThe pre-apocalyptic thought resonates for me as climate change seems to have taken hold of my part of the world. We have had the hottest summer on record and, one month into autumn, the heat goes on and on. Your picture is stunning, Linda. I love the deep colours and the grungy textures and, of course, the birds. Fantastic artwork.
