#21 Cave and #22 Mother Nature

Cave
Another difficult one...
Background created with bits from Mbgrigby and JoesSistah at T4L and a painting by Monet, Irises. The children and cave images were googled.
The rest is the usual playing blending filters and brushes.

Mother Nature
Images from Mucha and NASA,
Bacground bits from T4L and one of my own texture pieces.
Frame from Dover
Blending, brushes and filters applied.

  3. Hi Linda, thanks for stopping by my blog! Wow, you are really bursting forth with creativity!! Beautiful work, shame on me for not coming by more often to look, I enjoyed them all. The Mucha woman makes a wonderful Mother Nature. I really love the silver and blue piece--I adore baroque scrollwork! Being a calligrapher, I love how you've layered subtle text in the backgrounds of many pieces--the Chinese boats at sunrise are lovely, so tranquil! And I love how you are posting information along with the artwork--enjoyed reading about May Lillie, she's new to me. Great stuff, you go, girl!!

  4. Two more beautiful pieces Linda! "Mother Nature" encompasses all that is bountiful and full of life and your cave piece speaks of wonder and exploration . I love these. I think it is so cool that we are all doing different themes as they speak to us!
